CHITA, Aug 16 (PRIME) -- Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin promised on Tuesday to order the government to provide additional tax incentives for the Udokan copper deposit, Russia’s largest.
"We will, of course, consider all options of a preferential regime – for the taxes, for the incentives,” Mishustin said.
“We will give the order to the Finance Ministry. Concerning provision of the second stage with a reliable power source, we will also give such order to the Energy Ministry."
Board of Directors Chairman Yerkozha Akylbek said that the first line of the deposit to be launched in 2023.
“Besides, we are working on the second stage, which will increase capacity to 40 million tonnes, in fact, triple it,” he said.
